SOU/RCC Higher Education Facility

The Southern Oregon University and Rogue Community College project consisted of a three story, $22 million joint education facility occupying one city block located in downtown Medford, Oregon.

The project required coordination with SERA Architects (Portland, Oregon), the City of Medford and Adroit Construction, as well as simultaneous construction of surrounding City streets as developed by Medford Urban Renewal Agency and designed by Hardey Engineering and Associates, Inc.

The facility is LEED Gold Certified and may achieve LEED Platinum Certification, making it one of the first projects in Southern Oregon to achieve that distinction. Special green detention structures were designed to allow on-site storm water detention with an urban garden setting.
