 Southern Oregon Goodwill

The Southern Oregon Goodwill project consists of a 15,000 sf retail and warehouse building on a 2.5 acre site located in White City, Oregon.

The project's general contractor is S & B James Construction Management. S & B James' in-house architect designed the building and site layout  with assistance from Hardey Engineering. Close coordination was required throughout the design and construction process.

The project required coordination with the Oregon Department of Transportation for the realignment of Highway 62 and the installation of traffic islands and turn lanes. Rogue Valley Transportation Department also required the additional widening of the highway to accommodate a bus pullout and associated structures.

Design requirements included grading, city water mainline, storm drain, sanitary sewer and erosion and sediment control plans, as well as coordination with government agencies during the design and construction process. Special storm water requirements included the addition of a CDS Technologies storm water treatment unit to filter storm water runoff before it leaves the site.
